I've been smoking for a few years now. This is a chronicle of my experience quitting from day one until I no longer feel the urge for a cigarette. I hope this blog becomes inspirational to anyone else wants to quit but needs that extra push in the right direction.

Almost there! At 9:13 am today I will make 24 hours without  single cigarette!
This is the most important step. This is where the gratification of reaching a goal will outweigh the gratification of a relapse.
The most important part is setting these goals for yourself. If you have a goal you won’t just be sitting there wondering why you’re making yourself miserable. You’ll be making yourself proud instead.
Even if your goal is only 5 cigarettes a day as opposed to a pack, trust me it feels great to know you’ve completed something or to know that you’re well on your way to completing something as monumentally difficult as this.
Good luck fellow addicts.
